Guided meditation is basically having a calm narrator gently steer your brain away from its 47 open tabs and back to the present moment.
It may help mental health by:
- Reducing stress and anxiety
- Calming racing thoughts
- Improving emotional regulation
- Increasing self-awareness
- Supporting better sleep
- Helping the body feel safer and more grounded
It is not magic, but it can be a helpful coping skill when the nervous system is doing jazz hands.
