Hazel Dettmer
- Group Facilitator
Hazel Dettmer serves as a Group Facilitator with LifeWise Counseling and Wellness, LLC and is currently pursuing a Master Degree in Social Work. She facilitates a closed LGBTQIA+ support group designed to provide participants with a structured, inclusive, and affirming environment for connection, shared experiences, and personal growth.
Her approach is compassionate, respectful, and focused on helping group members feel heard, supported, and less alone. Hazel guides discussion, encourages healthy participation, and helps maintain a welcoming and confidential group setting.
Beyond the Office
Outside of work, Hazel enjoys life with her husband, Brayden, and their growing household of pets, including DougDoug and Lulu, Jax, and a rat who keep things interesting. She loves good coffee, close friends, and spending time with family, and she brings that same warmth and heart into everything she does.
