Program Purpose
The LifeWise Counselor Development Program provides structured clinical supervision, professional mentorship, practice development education, and operational support for master’s level counseling interns and LPC Associates. The program is designed to help counselors early in their careers develop sound clinical judgment, professional confidence, ethical practice habits, and the knowledge needed to build sustainable counseling careers.

1. Who the Program Serves
- Master’s level counseling interns completing approved clinical placement requirements.
- Texas LPC Associates supervised by Stacy Hixon, LPC-S.
Interns and LPC Associates participate within the same overall development model, while their supervision requirements, educational obligations, contracts, and documentation responsibilities remain distinct.
2. Compensation Structure

| Client referred by LifeWise | 80% | 20% |
| Client independently referred by clinician | 90% | 10% |
- LifeWise referral: A client generated through the LifeWise website, advertising, directory listings, referral partnerships, inquiry systems, or another LifeWise resource.
- Self referred client: A client generated through the clinician’s own professional relationships, community outreach, networking, marketing, or other independent efforts.

4. Supervision Format
LPC Associates
- Group supervision is limited to three LPC Associates per session.
Master’s Level Counseling Interns
- Group supervision is limited to two interns per session.
